In Stock & Shipping.
|
This is the original Apple AirPort card that is no longer available through Apple. The card is 802.11b compliant, and fully compatible with all 11b, 11g and 11n base stations. With speeds of up to 11 Mbps - that's about 10 times the speed of your average broadband Internet connection - you'll have plenty of bandwidth to spare. All cards are refurbished, but fully tested, and include a three month warranty.

Q: How do I get the AirPort icon to show in my menu bar?
A: Open the Network System Preferences Pane and choose 'Show: Network Port Configurations'. Make sure AirPort is checked - if it is unavailable, try re-inserting your 11g card. Then choose 'Show: AirPort' and choose the AirPort sub-pane. At the bottom of this pane is a checkbox that says 'Show AirPort Status in Menu Bar'. Check this box and the icon will appear in your menu bar.
